Our birding tour of Tikal is simply the best you can get in Tikal, but you cannot sign up for it while you are there. You need to reserve our guide in advance for the suggested times for this tour, which are at 5:30 a.m. or at 2:30 p.m. Our birding tour, which takes 3 and a half hours to complete, includes the following:

This tour may be within the archaeological park, or around the main water reservoir, at selected roosting and nesting sites. We offer this tour without the park entrance fee as it can be done outside the main water reservoir outside the archaeological complex
What's not included:Transportation to the Tikal National Park, breakfast or any other meals, personal expenses and the regular park entrance fees for entry between 6 am and 6 pm are NOT included. Please note that on the second option no park entrance fees are included at all.
On the first option the only park entrance fee that is included is the ADDITIONAL park entrance fee valid for EITHER the sunrise OR the sunset. The second option includes only the guided tour with one of our professional birding guides. Tips to our guides are not included in our prices, which are valid and revised for 2012.
