* Daily flights to Flores' Mundo Maya International Airport from Avenida Hincapie 18th street Hangar 15 zone 13 in Guatemala City. (This is where our civilian or private aviation is, which we call the national airport, and is directly opposite Guatemala City's La Aurora International Airport ). TAG ( Transportes Aereos Guatemaltecos ) is the only certified Guatemalan aviation company meeting FAA standards. TAG has one daily flight from Guatemala City to Flores at 6:30 a.m., returning from Flores to Guatemala City at 5 p.m. These flight schedules work perfectly with our shuttle transfers to Tikal to take our One Day tours or our Tikal packages. TAG's equipment includes a Swiss made 34 seater Saab-340 plane and several Brazilian made Embraer Bandeirante 19 seater planes. Our price is the lowest in the market for flights to Flores and includes the local sales taxes but not the security queue you will need to pay at each airport. Price for a one way ticket is US$ 131.26 per person Price for a return flight is US$ 227.24 per person Please note that these rates DO NOT include a US$ 2.66 domestic airport departure fee you will need to pay at each airport. At Ecotourism & Adventure Specialists we make a 10% surcharge -for TAG air tickets only- if you pay using a credit card (the price is US$ 249.96 round trip or US$ 144.39 one way). We would only need to have your dates of travel and your names as they appear on your passports -along with your nationalities- in order to make a reservation for you as well as the air tickets pre paid in full so we may issue them and send them your way. Reserve your flight or find out about availability by writing an e mail to our air travel specialists. Maximum weight allowance is 20 pounds. It is best to leave any excess luggage back at your hotel if you are returning to Guatemala City. You can have up to 50 pounds excess luggage but must pay a fee per pound. This fee is US$ 2 per extra pound.
