DAY 1
CANCUN – TIKAL

Your flight from Cancun to Tikal is TACA flight # 7977 which departs at 1:30 or 2:30 pm (depending on Mexican & Guatemalan daylight saving time the flight from Cancun may change schedule) arriving at 3:45 p.m. into Flores. You must be 2 hours ahead of time at the TACA ticket counter in the Cancun airport for check in. Upon arrival at the Mundo Maya International Airport (Flores) our driver will be waiting for you for your transfer to the Tikal National Park and to begin our services. You may go to the Canopy Tour this afternoon... This is an exciting adventure above the tree tops... or go directly to your hotel in Tikal for overnight.

DAY 2
TIKAL

After breakfast (included at your hotel) you will go on a guided tour of Tikal, which will start at 9:15 a.m. from your hotel’s lobby. Tikal is the most impressive of all Maya Ceremonial centers, due to its magnificent monumental architecture and the abundance of structures that have been excavated and restored at the site. Lunch included at your hotel. After lunch, visit the Sylvanus Morley Museum, where you will find the pieces that the University of Pennsylvania discovered during 13 years of research at the site. You will have some time to see more of the site in the afternoon on your own. Overnight in Tikal. You may also go on an optional bird watching tour in Tikal, where there are 410 resident species...

DAY 3
TIKAL- CANCUN

After breakfast (included) our driver will take you to the Mundo Maya International Airport in Flores at 8:20 a.m. for your flight back to Cancun, TACA Airlines flight # 7976, departing Flores at 11:30 a.m. and arriving in Cancun at 1:10 pm (depending on Mexican daylight saving time).

S$ 406.26 including transfers airport- Tikal- airport, when traveling alone, prices may vary when sharing transportation wiht other members of a group. This package is US$ 275.18 without the ground transportation. Price does not include the round trip air ticket from Cancun. (Please see notes below).

Our prices include sales & tourism taxes. You must pay for your own airport departure taxes in each country as well as your air tickets.

NOTES: A one way transfer airport- Tikal or Tikal- airport is US$ 64.65 for a maximum of 5 passengers. Starting with 6 people we will provide your transfer to Tikal and back to the airport free of charge with this package. You must buy your own air tickets with TACA. Arrival early in the morning in the Santa Elena’s International Airport from Cancun, Mexico.  Our drivers will pick you up and will take you to The Tikal National Park, where you will have a guided tour of Tikal with a professional guide, who shares with you interesting information about this old civilization.  After lunch you will visit the Sylannus G.  Morley Museum.  After lunch, transfer from Tikal National Park to Airport for your flight back to Cancun.

Tikal is the largest excavated site in the American continent.  It is Guatemala's most famous cultural and natural preserve.  Tikal possesses a certain magic... Like all puzzles without answers it fascinates everyone and we dare say... Tikal is so irresistible once you are there, you'll find yourself wanting to stay just a little longer!  After lunch transfer to Santa Elena’s international airport for your flight back to Cancun, Mexico.

At 6:30 a.m. leave Chetumal City from the bus terminal to Flores, Petén in a collective bus. Brief stop in El Cruce Ixlú and transfer to Tikal National Park. Check in at your hotel: Jungle Lodge, Tikal Inn or Jaguar Inn. Dinner on your own.

Day 2
After breakfast, go on a guided tour of Tikal with a professional guide.  Park and museum entrance fees and lunch included.  After lunch, visit the Sylvannus G. Morley Museum. The Morley’s museum is a small building, close to the parking area where some of Tikal's most valuable treasures are kept.  Sunset position on your own on Temple IV. Overnight at Jungle Lodge, Tikal Inn or Jaguar Inn.

Day 3
An early morning start for bird watching with a professional guide is optional. (Packed breakfast will be provided for those interested in this tour). There are 410 bird species in the Tikal National Park. Tikal is the largest excavated site in the American continent. It is Guatemala's most famous cultural and natural preserve. After breakfast *this refers to a regular breakfast at your hotel, for those not interested in going birding*, free day to wander around The Tikal National Park on your own. Transfer to the island city of Flores for overnight. (Alternatively, you may do a 3 day 2 night tour and leave fromTikal very early on this day -instead of having this free extra day in the park- and you may also leave to catch the early morning bus from Tikal directly. Let us know which option you would prefer).

Day 4
You will leave your hotel very early to catch a bus transfer directly to Chetumal, Mexico, which leaves from Flores at 7 a.m.
